Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Napoleone's Pizza House at (619) 474-2888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is napoleonespizzahouse.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

National City is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around National City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I and my family have been coming here for years, first time ever experiencing bad service and food. First I called for 20 minutes to place an order for pickup busy tone. Drove to the store to place the order and told the waitress Brook she might want to check the phone it may be off the hook, just get a busy tone when trying to place the order. Her response, “Gee, I don’t know where that phone could be”. Placed my order to go came up to $84.82. Waited for 40 minutes for my order only to have it wrong. Ordered pepperoni pizza light sauce extra pepperoni, great white pizza no Jalapeños, then a pepperoni sausage and mushroom all medium size. Pepperoni pizza had no extra pepperoni but there was onions added which I didn’t ask for. Great white pizza was covered with Jalapeños and I asked for NO Jalapeños. The place wasn’t that busy, so not sure how they could have messed up my order. Bottom line is if I pay $84 dollars worth of food, I should get my monies worth. Do better Brook! I’m still going to go there. I’ll just give Pete the owner an earful.

A National City institution that has been in business since the 50s. This landmark pizza house has always been family owned and operated. Their pizza is always on point and delicious...it's why we return as often as possible. They also have the traditional pasta dishes that will satisfy that Italian food craving. The staff were friendly and helpful making my order expeditiously. No doubt about a return visit!

We have found a gem! I only wish we knew it was here this whole time. My grandparents (from Italy) would have loved this place. The food is awesome and perfectly seasoned. I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Oh my gosh. It was spicy but not so spicy that you couldn't taste anything else. We had a party of 7, and everyone raved about the food. The ambiance is so cool. The bathrooms were spotless. There are paintings around the perimeter with the family story. There is a lot of love here. Cannot wait to come back again.

Ate there and food was good, took longer than expected. Ordered food to go and that is where I had the issue. Taste of the pizza was so so, but who put this pizza together? Topping were not distributed evenly and what the hell is that black thing in my pizza? See picture below.I have been coming here with my husband and kids for at least 24 years.
